Southeast Regional Coordination Committee
Central to continued advancement of transit service coordination throughout Nebraska is an active group of providers and human services agencies working together to understand changing needs, identify opportunities, and implement changes to the current transit concept. The NDOT and the consultant team will be advancing the regional coordination committee (RCC) concept by moving from a conceptual concept to a functional reality in the southeast (SE) region.
The southeast RCC will help in identifying modifications needed to the conceptual overview of the Regional Committee concept required to have the committee be a valuable part of the coordination program. The SE RCC will be holding four meetings over a period of six months and work toward creating a handbook for committee operation, including role of participants, meeting agendas, potential for involving organization/jurisdictions that presently do not provide/have service.
