Maybe you have heard the expression that the only constant is change. Attributed to ancient Greek philosopher Heraclitus, in not exactly the same words, most of us have taken his quote to heart in some way or another.

Riders in Burt, Cass, Cuming, Dodge, Douglas, Sarpy, and Washington counties know this very well as they transition to new transportation options. Leaders in those communities and leaders at the state know this sentiment as well.

We always experience bumps in the road and must pivot and adjust to make sure that the residents in Nebraska get the transportation services they need. But as we go through these changes in agencies and funding sources and leadership, one thing does not change: the need for people to move about.



Heraclitus was obviously smarter than me, but I would say that the one thing that will never change is our need to transport ourselves from place to place.
