Construction is underway in Cedar County on a new transit office and bus storage facility. The nearly 10,000 square foot building will provide storage space for 12 transit vehicles, a wash bay, office, and conference room. The project is scheduled for completion in August 2021.

Cedar County Transit Manager Nikki Pinkelman said, “Our new transit facility will make day to day operations much smoother; all vehicles will be parked at the same location as the office which will help improve communication and we will have a much-needed bus wash bay. Drivers are most excited about no more Nebraska extreme cold days icing up the vans!”
