What: Community Transportation Association of America (CTAA) Certified Community Transit Supervisor Training Program

When: July 18-19, 2023

Time: 9 A.M.-4:30 P.M. each day

Where: In-person at the Kearney Holiday Inn – 110 2^nd Avenue, Kearney, NE 68847

Presenter Dan Mulraney will lead the CTAA Certified Community Transit Supervisor training program to address core transit industry supervisory skills in front line management, human resources management, operations and safety management, and performance-based management.

To meet the unique challenge facing supervisory personnel, CTAA has developed the two-day Certified Community Transit Supervisor “7.0” program. This workshop has been updated to include a wide variety of skills necessary to successfully manage front-line employees and a web-based prerequisite course to be completed by registrants prior to the workshop.

The web-based prerequisite course (complimentary) will include the supervisor’s role, succeeding as a new supervisor, communicating effectively, leading your team, coaching and counseling, conflict management and decision making, and transit supervisor responsibilities.

All trainees who successfully complete the exam component of the workshop will be professionally certified by CTAA with the designation Certified Community Transportation Supervisors (CCTS); this certification is valid for three years.

Registration is required via the Transit Manager Portal and is limited to 20 participants.
