NDOT will accept applications for funding through the Federal Transit Administration’s Section 5310 program from August 1, 2022 through October 31, 2022. The Section 5310 program provides funding to meet the specialized transportation needs of the elderly and disabled.

Eligible applicants include non-profit organizations incorporated in the state of Nebraska and governmental entities that can certify there are no non-profit organizations in the area available to provide the service. Applicants must provide service in the rural or small urban areas of Nebraska or Lincoln. Applicants within the Omaha Metro area should contact MAPA at 402-444-6866 about the availability of applications.
