Public Transportation Mask Mandate

While many states and businesses are lifting mask mandates across the country, the Transportation Security Administration has extended the face mask requirement for all transportation networks, including public transportation, through September 13, 2021.
All drivers and passengers must comply and wear a mask that covers the nose and mouth while boarding, disembarking, and for the duration of travel. Transit agencies should make passengers aware of this mandate by providing prominent and adequate notice of this requirement.
