The National Rural Transit Assistance Program is hosting their 5th Technical Assistance Conference December 3-6 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The conference offers trainings, hands-on workshops, keynotes, regulatory updates, innovative strategies, and best practices. There will be opportunities for networking, learning from your peers, and connecting with vendors.

Partners and participating organizations include the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), South Carolina Department of Transportation, Transit Association of South Carolina, National Transit Institute, and FTA Technical Assistance Centers.

Reminder that all out of state travel for 5311 sub-recipients must be pre-approved. Employees must submit an out of state travel application to the Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) and the Nebraska Association of Transportation Providers (NATP) prior to making any travel arrangements. NDOT and NATP will review and approve or deny the request. Read the out of state travel policy and download the application on the Transit Manager Resources webpage under General Transit Documents/Manuals/Brochures/Handbooks.
