Hope everyone is enjoying summer, it’s been a hot one so far and going quick!

The Nebraska Association of Transportation Provider’s (NATP) annual membership dues have been sent out. If you are not a member or would like to learn more about the benefits of becoming one, please reach out to any area board member, myself, or the NATP office. We appreciate the continued support from members!

There are several board positions up for re-election. Watch for more information on elections, both to serve and to vote. The NATP Annual Meeting will be held September 26 in conjunction with the Roadeo. Sad to say this will be my last term as NATP president, I have enjoyed my time on the board. If you need Board contact information, details on NATP events, election, or award nominations visit neatp.org. Information will also be emailed as it becomes available.

Congratulations to all drivers who attended the CTAA National Rodeo in Oklahoma City. I enjoyed watching the competition and took away some valuable information from the EXPO sessions. Looking ahead, Nebraska will be hosting our annual Roadeo and training September 26-27 in Kearney. I encourage managers to attend and to send drivers, this a great opportunity for drivers to network. More exciting news, it was announced that next year’s CTAA Roadeo will be head in West Palm Beach, Florida, and Nebraska sends the top two drivers and managers to attend with a paid scholarship.



Our next upcoming event will be the 2023 Midwest Transit Conference September 6-8 in Kansas City. Hope to see many managers there! Learn more and register.
