Public Transportation Mask Mandate

In August, the Transportation Security Administration extended the face mask requirement for all transportation networks, including public transportation, through January 18, 2022. All drivers and passengers must comply and wear a mask that covers the nose and mouth while boarding, disembarking, and for the duration of travel. Travels under the age of two years old and those with certain disabilities may be exempt. Transit agencies should make passengers aware of this mandate by providing prominent and adequate notice of this requirement. See more information and resources.
